As everyone is eagerly waiting for HSR layout metro station to be started, i would like to break the news that it is not going to start anytime soon. At least it looks like so with the speed the work in going. When i meant it “anytime soon” then we can consider a time frame of around 3 years from now or by 2027-28.

Nearest metro station to HSR Layout

Well there is no exact answer to this question, because it depends from passenger to passenger.

Let me explain it clearly as you can find multiple answer to this question over the internet. The best and nearest route by metro to HSR Layout is Banashankari Metro which is around 10kms to HSR Layout. From Banashankari station you can find the BMTC buses near station which is about 200mtrs and can get into 500 series buses which will go to Marathahalli and Whitefield which can take you to HSR layout.

Closest metro station to HSR Layout

The other alternative to reach by metro is from RV Road metro station. From RV road metro we can get same 500 series buses which will go to Banashankari Bus depot and again from there to HSR layout. This route will be actually taking more time to travel.

If you have a personal vehicle parked near metro or someone who has come to pick you up then the best route would be from RV road Metro station via Double decker flyover. It starts near Ragigudda and ends in HSR layout which will take a journey time of around 12-15min which other wise will be 40min to come near HSR layout. By this the traffic of Jayadeva, BTM layout and silk board is totally avoided.

If Yellow Line is completed then Silk board would be the nearest Metro station to HSR layout. Yellow Line metro station is scheduled to be running by end of 2024. When yellow line starts running which will start from RV road running about 17-18kms then Silk Board metro station would be most nearest to HSR Layout.
